An institution on Britain’s high streets Moss Bros Group plc has grown from a single stall at Covent Garden in 1851 to 125 stores around the United Kingdom, providing quality tailoring to generations of men.

Drawing on 165 years of expertise – from first Hiring an evening suit in 1897 to a friend of the Moss family, to supplying Officers’ uniforms during both World War 1 and 2, through changes in fashions trends, mergers and acquisitions including that of Savoy Tailors Guild in 1988, to the launch of the Tailor Me in 2016 – Moss Bros adapts to the latest tailoring trends, whilst staying true to our heritage.

In recent years we have consolidated and grown our position in the tailored menswear market with significant investment in refurbishing the store estate, growing online capabilities and the development and repositioning of the Moss Bros product range. Moss London, Moss 1851 and Moss Esquire are now at the centre of the company’s product proposition and exclusive luxury brands such as French Connection, DKNY, Ted Baker, Hardy Aimes, Canali, Zegna and Cerruti ensure a broad customer offering.

With the leading position in Hire, a visit to Moss Bros remains a familiar rite of passage for grooms and their friends and family.
